Depending on the date range of the documents in question, there are three (3) methods by which you can search for permitting documentation and record information for Hillsborough County:

• Requests for permitting information from January 1st, 2021 to Present: HillsGovHub
• Requests for permitting information up to January 1st, 2021: Permit Reports Portal
• Any permitting information prior to 2004: Send an email to ds-recordsresearch@hcfl.gov and include the following information:
  • Year property was built, address, any previous addresses, and folio number.
  • For records prior to 1989, the year the permit was applied for is required in order to perform a search.

Supplementary Permitting Documents

In some cases, documentation for a past permit, such as site plans, maps, and other items, may not be included in the initial searches recommended above.

• To locate supplementary permitting documentation from 2005 - January 1st, 2021 use the PGM Portal.
